3,300 Shorter-Wait BTO Flats to Launch in October: Faster Keys, New Concepts Ahead

The Housing and Development Board (HDB) is set to launch 3,300 Build-To-Order (BTO) flats with waiting times under three years this October, located across Bedok, Sengkang, and Yishun.

These projects make up over a third of the 9,100 units to be launched during the sales exercise. Unit types range from two-room flexi flats to three-generation homes, including assisted living options and community care apartments designed for seniors.

HDB noted that this will bring the total shorter-wait launches in 2025 to 4,690 units, surpassing the initial target of 4,500. Moving forward, 4,000 such flats will continue to be launched each year in 2026 and 2027 โ€” a strong signal of the governmentโ€™s intent to shorten waiting times for new homeowners.
