Mee Toh exists because a monk changed his mind — Venerable Sek Kong Hiap had bought land in 1954 to build Mee Toh Temple, then decided to build a school there instead, borrowing its motto from a historical Buddhist master, Hongyi. Like Maha Bodhi across town, it feeds into Manjusri Secondary, priority admission at S1, not a promise of a place. The ring sits where most of these do within 1km, priced squarely down the middle, River Isles the nearest at 563m, most of it shared with Rivervale Primary. A temple that became a school.
